Misunderstood Mutts Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization operated completely by volunteers, which means 100% of our adoption fees, donations, and contributions go towards the animals we save and the rescue's cost of upkeep.

has a direct impact on the dogs we rescue!
The monetary breakdown of a rescue dog:

Wellness check: $35 -$75
Spay/Neuter: $95 - $200
Vaccines: $30 - $50
Microchip: $10 - $40
Transportation: $20 - $50
TOTAL: $190 - $415

These numbers are the average for a healthy dog. We've rescued numerous dogs whose vet bills exceeded $800, but thanks to generous donations like yours they were able to receive the care they needed before finding their forever homes!
